THE MANIFESTO SHOW PRESENTS THE LAST SHAMROCK BAR MONOSCENE NIGHT MARCH 29TH!!!

Attention Improv Teams!!!

The Manifesto Show is proud to announcement The Last Shamrock Bar Monoscene Night on March 29th 2013.

A night of monoscenes in which we turn the Clubhouse into dive bar The Last Shamrock for one night only! All monoscenes will take place in one location and with several special bartenders!

Each performing team will have their monoscene set in The Last Shamrock Bar and via lottery each team will be rewarded a very special UCB regular performer as their bartender in their show then from there the inhabitants and events that transpire are limitless!

For the chance to participate in this very fun and special night please submit your team that currently practices or has in the past practiced the monoscene to themanifestoshow@gmail.com;

Please Include the following:

Team Name, Coach Name, Full Team Roster and how long you’ve worked on monoscenes.

The evenings line up and possible UCB performers/bartenders will be announced no later than Saturday March 23rd!!!

DON’T FORGET TO SUBMIT TO THE INDIE IMPROV TOURNAMENT!!!

The Local, Crashbar, TNT, Room 101, The 11th Hour Show, and The Manifesto Show are hosting a week-long Indie Improv Tournament.

PRIZE:
The winning team receives 100 dollars and will perform at the UCB

The Local - January 5th 10pm

Crashbar - January 6th 7pm

TNT - January 8th 8pm

Room 101 - January 9th 8pm

The 11th Hour Show - January 10th 11pm

Manifesto Show - January 11th 8pm

FINALS - January 12th at The Clubhouse

RULES:

1) An individual may only be on two submitted teams. If a name appears on more than two teams, the third, fourth, etc. teams will not be considered. The rosters are final, so players may not join another team after teams are announced.

2) Submitted teams cannot be a house team at any theater, although all members may individually be on various house teams.

3) Deadline to submit is Friday, December 21 at 10pm
4) Teams submitting must be available to perform at all of the shows.

HOW TO SUBMIT:

Send an email to indietournament@gmail.com with your team name in the subject line and the names of all the team members in the body. Please list your player names in a horizontal manner.

FAQ:
Q: Does our team have to be all UCB students?
A: No. Teams and players from all schools are eligible.

Q: How will finalists be decided?
A: The audience will vote for the winners of each night. Shows with two halves (Crashbar, TNT, Room 101, Manifesto) will have a finalist for each half. Shows with one set (The Local, 11th Hour) will have one finalist.

Q: How many teams will be in the tournament?
A: We try to include as many teams as possible. The actual number will be based on submissions, but most likely around 60 teams.

Q: If my team is not in the tournament are we hated by the indie nights and God?
A: No, you are great people and improvisers and are loved by your deity. There are tons of great teams we’d like to get up and numbers work against us.

Did you submit a late night show idea to the Del Close Marathon (http://www.delclosemarathon.com/dcm14/) in New York or miss the deadline to submit?

Well, why not submit your late night show idea to The Manifesto Late Night Show on May 25th email themanifestoshow@gmail.com.

With any luck, you might be able to do that nutty late night show twice! The Manifesto Show is putting together a night of LA’s best DCM-style late night shows. If you’ve been to DCM in New York before, you know the drill: 15-minute concept shows, high in energy and always a raucous good time. The late night show experience is quintessential to the Del Close Marathon and we’d love to celebrate that spirit in Los Angeles on Friday, May 25th, for one night only. So, submit your late night show idea to DCM, then email The Manifesto Show with the same pitch. We’ll pick the best / craziest / worst / best / besterest of the best to put up in one off-the-wall, action-packed night at the ArtWorks Theater on Santa Monica Blvd. To submit:
